Return of Tell Me What to Read

Tell Me What to Read
It's been some time since I did this, and I really do miss the spontaneity. Because, truth be told, I am not a very adventurous reader. This feature is done at Everyday Reading.

You can recommend a book from any genre; however, I will not read erotica, or books with excessive language or sexuality. I will somehow get a hold of the book via the library, paperback swap, or the bookstore. Then, I will read the book and post a review. Please check out my Goodreads page to see the books that I have already read. If I pick a book that I've already read, I will select a new one. Oh, and only one suggestion per person please. Otherwise my brain might melt. You can pick books that haven't been released yet, but be aware that I may not have a copy.

Leave your pick in the comments, and I'll select one on Friday, March 2. Then, watch for a review in March!

  3. If you are a music fan, I highly recommend "B-Sides and Broken Hearts" by Caryn Rose. I fell in love with her story about following bands and being a part of the music scene when it was thriving in the early 90s.

  7. I would be very interested to hear your thoughts on Birthmarked. It is powerful series and doesn't get enough attention, IMO.

    1. I second Birthmarked! I loved this book and finished the sequel about a month ago. It's super unique and totally engrossing.

  8. I just finished The Scorpio Races & was completely surprised/impressed by how good it was. (It looks like it was already on your TBR, so I'm not sure if you've gotten to it yet or not) It's a little slow at first, but it's my new "everyone should read this" book. :)

  9. Even adult books? Even not YA books? Really? Are you SURE??? You didn't list that in your disclaimer! So if you ARE sure then you've got to read The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern. Okay? Please? Wait, you haven't read it already have you?
