Here is my to-do list for the weekend:
Re-arrange my sidebars. By the way, I'm totally bemoaning the fact that my sidebars are just too narrow. It's really time for a blog re-design.Do some SEO stuff.I've got to put in a lot of alt-tags for photos, and put in some keywords.Update my review lists, and create one for audiobooks- Update my tags
Rewrite my advertising page, including an update of stats, update twitter, netgalley, goodreads, and other profiles.- Get caught up on all reviews for books I've read recently and schedule posts.
- Organize email
- Create yearly reader survey
What are you working on?
psst... If you want to know more about bloggiesta, read about it here.

I am mostly working on small stuff; upgrading my link list, scheduling a couple more reviews, writing templates for the posts I do most often, things like that:)
ReplyDeleteOoh, I like your idea of creating a yearly readers survey (I just stole it for my Bloggiesta list, too), and your idea for creating a review list for audiobooks. I don't have any reviews of audiobooks yet, but when I do, I'm making a separate list for them. :)
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your goals!
You and I both are in the "I need a blog re-design" situation. Hopefully you can tweak things easily since your layout is already so cute! Good luck!

I'm such a fly by the seat of my pants blogger that I really admire you peeps who are so organized! The blog is always a work in progress for all of us, I suppose. It's never really done, no matter how much we fiddle with it. ;) Look forward to seeing the upcoming changes and features!

I'm such a "fly by the seat of my pants" type of blogger that I really admire your organization, hah. We certainly keep planning calendars and documents for our features, but my to-do list is mostly in my head. ;)
ReplyDeleteLook forward to the new updates and features!

Great list! I also think my sidebar is too narrow ...
ReplyDeleteSounds like you have a great few days planned! :)
I could probably widen your sidebars for you. :D It's usually not too hard.
ReplyDeleteWhat am I saying? You're HTMily! I need YOUR advice more often than not. ;)
ReplyDeleteI feel you on the sidebar issue. I wish there were more wordpress themes with decent sidebar width too! It took me HOURS to settle on a theme which I thought gave me more room.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a fun plan. Good luck with it all. I'm glad I have my blog redesign behind me... but someone just posted a link on how to do drop down menus which I'd love and... gah, I think it's too hard!!
ReplyDeleteSEO stuff is big on my to-do list as well. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteSEO scares me big time! Fortunately, my husband has helped me a lot with that. But, I do need to make it better on my blog too. I think I'm going to put that off to next Bloggiesta, though, so that I can think about it more fully. It may end up being my only task since it's such a large one! Good luck with your SEO updates and good luck with your blog redesign. I hope Enna has figured out the kink with the sidebars.
ReplyDeleteI have a lot of outstanding reviews to write too. Good luck with your to-do list.
ReplyDeleteWow! What a list. I hope you're able to get it all done. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteI really love blog redesigns! We moved over from Blogger to WP, redesigned, and I'm totally in love. I'm working on SEO too except more on the Meta tags, I will eventually get to alt-tags. Good luck. :)
ReplyDeleteYes, sidebars always give me problems too. I can't ever decide what to do with them, whether it's better to have one or two, so I always end up changing them every so often. You have a cute layout right now, so I'm excited to see what you come up with for your redesign. :] I need to do some SEO stuff too. Great list! Looks like you're almost done...Good luck finishing up!
