Bloggiesta Finish Line

Bloggiesta

What a weekend! I was able to accomplish quite a few blogging goals. So, here's what I did:

Cleaned up my sidebars a little. Enna Isilee from Squeaky Books is currently working on the CSS for my current design to make the sidebars all on one side. So, thanks to her! (Penelope from The Reading Fever hosted this challenge)

I backed up my blog! (Thanks to The Book Vixen for the mini-challenge)

And, I started on SEO stuff. This one is going to be an ongoing project since I have about 3 years of posts to go through... (challenge hosted by Good Books and Good Wine).

Then, I wrote up one complete review, started two others. I also wrote up my monthly wrap-up post. And I filmed an IMM vlog.

I updated my review by author and review by title pages. And I created a brand new audiobook review page!

I updated my netgalley profile with my most current stats. I also updated my available books list for my co-reviewers to choose from.

My email didn't get totally organized. In fact, I think it got worse! Oh well. I can get to that another time.

I worked on my blogads account. Once the sidebar situation is all settled, I think that I will be able to really get the ball rolling on that.

And I created my yearly reader survey! That's probably going to go up in May because April is going to be a busy busy month.

That's what I got done. Hope you had a successful bloggiesta!

  1. Congrats on a productive weekend! I only managed to write one complete review, but did a few other tasks that weren't on my original list. What? That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it! :)

Totally forgot about updating my NetGalley stats, so thanks for the reminder! See, told you I needed a bigger list!

  2. I didn't write a single review this week-end! But, I tacked an otherwise super productive to-do list.

I think next time around I'm gonna add more themed pages like an audio books page. That's a great idea!

    Good work this week-end!

    1. I like the themed pages! But, they can be a pain to maintain.

  3. Congrats on getting so much done! I've been wanting to redo my sidebars to add in blogads as well. Hopefully soon!

Thank you again for hosting your mini-challenge and for participating this weekend! Hopefully you'll be back again next time! :o)

  4. You did awesome this weekend! I've been working on my sidebars, wondering if I have too much or too little in them (or it, I should say, since there's only one). Good luck with your SEO stuff! That takes dedication to work on 3 years worth of posts. :)

Thanks for reminding me about NetGalley ... I should go and update my info there before the weekend ends.

    Great work!

    1. It's funny, because my survey isn't even going to go out for like another month! I just don't have time for it.

  7. Nice! Congratulations on everything you've accomplished this weekend. I am amazed that you have a page dedicated to just authors and book titles - hyperlinking is always a pain, but it is great to have it there. Congratulations on your reviews and advance posts. I value that greatly too, and I make sure we have at least two weeks' post scheduled. :) Til the next Bloggiesta!

  9. Wow, great job :D You got a lot done!!

I need to back-up our blog too (I know, it's pretty stoopid that I haven't already) and I'm thinking of switching all the sidebars to one side also.

    1. I can't wait to have the sidebars switched. It's been a thorn in my side for almost a year.

  10. Wow...you got a lot done! I participated in some challenges and got some reviews done, too. My big project was creating a review archive page - that took almost a whole day to do.

    1. My review archive page took a long time too. I should just update it once a month.

  13. Great job! I'm bummed I missed out on Bloggiesta this time around. You made great progress and I'm totally with you about 3 years worth of posts to go through for SEO. I still need to learn more about that. I love April's post!
