Radley just wants to get home to her parents in Vermont. While she was volunteering abroad, the American People's Party took power; the new president was assassinated; and the government cracked down on citizens. Travel restrictions are worse than ever, and when her plane finally lands in New Hampshire, Radley’s parents aren’t there.

Exhausted; her phone dead; her credit cards worthless: Radley starts walking.

Besides the very awesome premise, this book will contain original photography to illustrate the book. (Similar to Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children). So, consider me hooked; line and sinker.

  5. OMG this premiss absolutely terrifies me. After the whole solar flare scare I told my family that we needed a plan in case something happened and the entire country lost power (how would we get to each other if we couldn't call, after all?). I'm not big on conspiracy or apocalypse theories, but that one hit home for some reason. They just laughed at me... SIGH. So here's hoping something like this book never does happen!

I can't wait for the photos. I went to college in Vermont... that whole area is so breathtaking.

    Happy Wednesday! My WoW.
