Fierce Reads Tour: Provo and Giveaway!

Here at Emily's Reading Room, we are a huge fan of the books featured in this summer's Fierce Reads Tour. We've reviewed Monument 14 (and had an interview with the author!), Of Poseidon, Cinder, and Shadow and Bone! So, when they scheduled their visit to Provo, I was on it!

In typical Provo style, we had a small meet and greet before the event with some of the bloggers in the area, including Jenni Elyse, Suey, Enna Isilee, Lorren, Kathy, Diana, Jenny, Nichole, and Elana. We chatted a little bit about their books, and learned some great tidbits. Like, Emmy Laybourne drew the original concept art for her cover. Jenn Bosworth's husband directed and did all the special effects for her beautiful trailer. Anna Banks would choose lemon heads as the food for her books, since they made Galen upchuck. Leigh is prone to speaking to herself on the street and wears a bluetooth headset. Also, Emmy Laybourne did a little bit of acting for us. She was such a riot!
