Blogger Confidential

Blogger Confidential FAQ’s

What is Blogger Confidential?

Blogger confidential is based on Wastepaper Prose’s Author Insight Series. It is a series of questions asked to a group of bloggers with one question posted at a time.

What kind of questions do you ask?

Questions range from thoughts on trends in publishing, dealing with publishers and authors, and how blogging fits into personal lives. The questions are designed to be thought-provoking and provide a forum for discussion on difficult topics sans drama.

How do you choose bloggers?

Bloggers are chosen by me (Emily). I choose bloggers that are actively engaged in discussion on Twitter and their blogs. While some of these bloggers may not have a large following, they are able to engage responsibly in a conversation about the most controversial topics in a responsible manner that furthers dialogue. Bloggers are selected from a variety of genres, ages, and length of time blogging. Applications are not accepted for blogger confidential, but if you would like to be considered in the future, feel free to send me an email.

When does the series run?

Blogger confidential usually posts once a week on Thursdays. However, since I do not double-post on review days, if a review has been posted that morning, Blogger Confidential posts will be moved to either the previous, or the following day. Each series has about 10 questions. Once the previous series has ended, there is a short break during which new bloggers and questions are selected.

How can I participate?

As mentioned above, Blogger Confidential bloggers are selected by me. But, there are other ways to participate. You can add your discussion in the comments, or post about the topic on your own blog. The posts are meant to be a starting point for discussion, and all opinions are welcomed.

Can I do this feature on my blog?

If you’d like to do this feature on your blog, the only thing that I ask is that somewhere in your post, credit is given to me as the creator of the series. Especially if you are going to duplicate the formatting and same type of questions. However, please do not use my questions or graphic. Thanks!
